I’m back!!!

Hello again

I’ve been away for a while but I’m back now. I’ve relocated. I used to have my own bedroom but I’ve now moved down stairs into the dining room. My hutch has, of course, moved with me and I have a section of the dining room as my personal space, fenced off by a playpen. I have tasteful beige carpeting and I’m now much more part of the family. I get to see what everyone is doing while still having my own space. It’s much better.

There have been other positives. I’m now closer to the kitchen so I’ve been practicing my “sad” eyes every time someone peels carrots. Once or twice it’s actually got me the carrot peelings. Yummy carrot spaghetti.

The only negative is that most of the downstairs, including the dining room, has hard flooring instead of carpet. I’ve found that I can lollop carefully around the dining room and kitchen but I slip if I try to run. More practice required I think.

Since the weather is getting warmer I’ve also tried going outside into the garden with the lady human and the little human. Their lawn is really tasty and there are plenty of shrubs to hide under. I’m not too worried about cats as long as the humans are with me. The garden is fully enclosed so I don’t escape – not that I’d want to.

I’m also moulting quite a lot at the moment. I’ve been combed several times but I’m looking a bit scruffy. I’ve had my toenails cut too. I was making little tippy tappy noises on the floor, which was impacting my “stealth mode”. That’s about all my beauty regime consists of these days.
